He leads the community's financial and management operations, capital planning, sales strategy, and employee culture.
Tye is a fifth-generation member of the family behind Generations LLC, a senior living owner-operator founded in 1943 with communities across the western United States. His long-term focus is leading Generations' next chapter, with particular interest in middle-market senior housing and population health-based operating models.
At CherryWood Village, Tye has championed initiatives including an on-site physical and occupational therapy clinic, a Medicare Advantage I-SNP partnership, enterprise technology overhauls, occupancy stabilization, agency reduction, and employee retention programs.
Tye remains active in civic leadership, having served as President and Treasurer of the East Portland Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers with The First Tee of Oregon and the Oregon Health Care Association.
Tye holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Saint Mary's College of California and an MBA from Willamette University's Atkinson Graduate School of Management.
