Future Leaders Council Overview

The NIC Future Leaders Council (FLC) was created to be an extension of, and resource to, the NIC Board to further our mission: to enable access and choice by providing data, analytics, and connections that bring together investors and providers. The FLC prepares tomorrow’s NIC leaders to face what lies ahead, grow the industry, and positively impact America’s seniors. The FLC offers emerging leaders the opportunity to hone their leadership skills, address critical issues that impact the industry through NIC’s initiatives, and develop a deep network.

Currently, the FLC includes 29 members serving three-year terms. The selection of members is a highly competitive process, and only 8 to 10 new members are selected each year.

Potential nominees are welcome to contact FLCnominations@nic.org with questions regarding nomination eligibility, submissions, or timeline, or reach out to current FLC members or alumni regarding their experience, commitment, and time required.

Note: Please do not contact members of the FLC Advisory Committee regarding nominations.
