Stephanie Harris is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Arrow Senior Living and Principal of Turnaround Solutions, LLC. She founded Turnaround Solutions in 2005 while attending Saint Louis University School of Law and launched Arrow Senior Living in 2009, funding the company with student loans, questionable financial judgment, and a healthy amount of optimism. What began as a startup built on determination and an entrepreneurial vision has grown into being recognized as the 42nd-largest seniors housing operator by the American Seniors Housing Association's 2025 ASHA 50 rankings.
Over the past 25 years, Stephanie has built Arrow into one of the nation's leading privately held senior living operators. Today, Arrow operates approximately 45 independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities across eight states, serving more than 5,000 residents and employing over 3,000 team members.
Stephanie has worked across virtually every aspect of the senior housing industry—including operations, turnarounds, acquisitions, development, technology, and ownership—bringing an operator's perspective to every investment and development decision. Under her leadership, Arrow has become known for combining operational excellence with technology innovation, developing one of the industry's most integrated operating platforms to improve resident outcomes, simplify frontline operations, and create long-term value for owners, investors, and residents.
Stephanie currently serves as Vice Chair of the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the NIC Operator Advisory Board. She is a frequent national speaker on senior housing operations, development, technology, artificial intelligence, sales strategy, and organizational leadership, sharing practical approaches to building high-performing organizations in an increasingly complex healthcare environment.
Prior to entering senior housing, Stephanie worked on Capitol Hill as a policy advisor and participated in numerous congressional and statewide political campaigns. She earned her Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law, with an emphasis in Health Law, receiving honors in Client Counseling and Employee Compensation & Benefits Planning. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with honors, from American University.
Thought Leadership
Stephanie is widely recognized as one of the senior housing industry's leading voices on sales strategy, operational excellence, technology innovation, artificial intelligence, and organizational leadership. Throughout her career, she has developed management systems and sales methodologies that have transformed underperforming communities into market leaders while helping owners maximize occupancy, improve financial performance, and enhance the resident experience.
A longtime advocate for proactive, relationship-based sales, Stephanie has challenged the industry's traditional focus on need-driven move-ins. She believes senior living providers have a responsibility to educate older adults about the lifestyle, health, and social benefits of moving before a health crisis forces the decision. Her sales philosophy emphasizes trust, education, and relationship-building, resulting in stronger lead conversion, longer lengths of stay, improved resident outcomes, and greater long-term value for owners and operators. She is the author of Turning Leads into Move-Ins, a training guide for senior living sales professionals.
Stephanie is equally recognized as a technology leader and innovator. Under her direction, Arrow has built one of the industry's most comprehensive technology ecosystems, integrating operational, financial, clinical, marketing, and resident data into a unified business intelligence
platform. Her work has focused on leveraging automation, predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, and real-time operational insights to simplify frontline workflows, improve decision-making, enhance resident care, and create scalable operating systems.
Her passion for innovation extends beyond technology alone. Stephanie has led initiatives that integrate development, operations, finance, sales, and data analytics into a single operating philosophy, helping communities operate more efficiently while delivering greater value to residents, employees, investors, and development partners. She believes the future of senior living depends on thoughtful innovation—not simply adopting new technology, but reimagining how people, processes, and data work together to improve outcomes.
Through her industry work, Stephanie collaborates with other companies and leaders to advance best practices in operations, technology adoption, artificial intelligence, workforce strategy, and organizational leadership. She is a frequent speaker at national conferences and industry events, where she shares practical strategies for operational alignment, technology implementation, development, acquisitions, and value creation.
Stephanie believes the future of senior living will be defined by organizations that successfully combine exceptional hospitality, operational excellence, innovative technology, and responsible stewardship of capital. Her work continues to focus on creating more affordable, technology-enabled communities that improve quality of life for older adults while generating stronger long-term performance for owners, investors, and the industry.
