Sophia Lukas joined St. Paul’s Senior Services (SPSS) in 2023 as Chief Operating Officer. SPSS provides a continuum of services for older adults, including senior living, skilled nursing, and comprehensive medical and social services through the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). She brings extensive experience in healthcare operations, strategy, and organizational leadership across both established and startup environments.
In 2025, SPSS expanded its impact through the affiliation of TRU Community Care in Colorado, which provides hospice, palliative care, grief support, PACE, and memory care services. Together, the organizations serve more than 5,000 individuals annually and employ over 1,100 team members. SPSS also launched Trias Solutions, a Managed Services Organization that helps PACE programs launch, grow, and thrive. Looking ahead, SPSS is focused on advancing innovative healthcare delivery models, developing housing solutions for middle-market older adults, and investing in person-centered, community-based care.
Before returning to SPSS, Sophia served as Vice President of Operations for WellQuest Living, where she oversaw operations across established and newly developed communities, improved financial performance through occupancy growth and expense management, and strengthened leadership teams. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles with HumanGood, including Administrator, Executive Director, and Vice President of Operations, managing life plan communities as well as starting up and overseeing the organization’s procurement program.
Sophia also serves as Chair of NIC's Middle Market Focus Area Committee and sits on the Board of San Diego Oasis, a nonprofit that promotes healthy aging and lifelong learning.
