Taylor Rijos is responsible for overseeing Blue Moon's asset management activity and is a member of Blue Moon's Management & Investment Committees.
Prior to joining Blue Moon, Taylor spent seven years as Vice President of Seniors Housing with Kayne Anderson Real Estate where he oversaw a team responsible for the asset management of a 33-property portfolio. He also served as the relationship lead for several national, regional and local operators and oversaw over $600 million of dispositions. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson, Taylor was a Senior Associate for Welltower, the nation's largest owner of seniors housing. In 2016 he was selected to open Welltower's first remote office in Los Angeles, California -- overseeing all investment and asset management activity along the West Coast. Earlier in his career, Taylor served in various investment and analytical roles for Welltower while completing over $1.6 billion of senior housing and medical office investments.
Taylor served as an American Senior Housing Association (ASHA) Rising Leader Committee Member in 2016 and is a frequent contributor to ASHA's State of Senior Housing Annual Report. Taylor earned his bachelor's degree from Cornell University's Hotel School, where he is also a member of the Dean's Council of Young Alumni.
