Melissa Raffel

Senior Conference Program Curator / NIC

Melissa is the Senior Conference Program Curator at the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC), where she leads the planning and execution of programming for our three annual conferences-working closely with volunteer leaders and NIC staff. She oversees session design, speaker recruitment and preparation, and on-site speaker management, ensuring engaging, well-orchestrated educational programs.

With more than 20 years of nonprofit management experience in volunteer and staff engagement and event program development, Melissa brings deep expertise in project management and stakeholder collaboration. She holds a Master’s in Arts Administration from Drexel University and a Bachelor’s in Theater from Russell Sage College, is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with her son.
