Laura leads the management and growth of NIC Academy. She brings more than 15 years of experience in online learning, focused on growth-oriented corporate strategy and building new education businesses.
Prior to joining NIC, Laura helped conceive and grow the adult learning business line at EverFi. Most recently, she focused on evaluating new degree programs and strategic growth opportunities at Risepoint and 2U.
Laura holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, and a BA from Williams College.
She lives in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys coaching her kids’ basketball teams and playing tennis when she can.
