Josh leads Cassia’s investments, mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, capital planning, asset management, and oversees strategy within the organization's for-profit business lines. His work centers on designing capital strategies, identifying high-value growth opportunities, and strengthening portfolio performance in support of Cassia's mission of serving older adults.
Josh entered senior living in 2004 and built his career as an operator first, leading multi-state operations before transitioning to development and investment roles at the vice president and senior vice president level. Prior to Cassia, he served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Revenue and Senior Vice President of Strategy and Investments. Across his career, Josh has led acquisitions, divestitures, ground-up development, asset repositioning, and enterprise capital planning, pairing financial discipline with the operational insight of an executive who has run the communities he now underwrites.
Josh holds a degree in Economics, an Advanced Certificate in Commercial Real Estate and Development, and an Advanced Certificate in Gerontology. He is a Certified Senior Housing Investment Professional (C-SHIP), holding the Level II designation from the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care (NIC).
