Cooper Vittitow is President, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder of Civitas Senior Living, where he leads the company's strategic vision, operational excellence, innovation, and long-term growth. Appointed President & CEO in December 2025 as part of Civitas' long-term succession plan, Cooper has been instrumental in building one of the nation's leading senior living organizations while preserving its culture of compassionate service and operational excellence.
Throughout his career, Cooper has developed the operational systems, leadership infrastructure, and performance strategies that have fueled Civitas' growth into a multi-state senior living provider serving thousands of residents and families. He has led the development of the company's Standards of Excellence, Passion Program, leadership development initiatives, business intelligence dashboards, budgeting processes, and scalable operating platforms while championing a culture built on accountability, teamwork, and servant leadership.
Cooper earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Lubbock Christian University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Wesleyan University. A former professional baseball player, he brings the discipline, resilience, and team-first mindset of athletics to his leadership philosophy, believing that investing in people is the foundation for exceptional resident care and sustainable organizational success.
