Course Overview
After an introduction to the operating economics for a senior living community, including the typical resident profile, common elements of building design, service offerings, revenues, and operating expenses, we’ll follow a similar structure for all remaining care segments.
What you will learn:
- Introduction to the operating economics for senior housing and care communities
- Regulatory matters covering compliance, regulations and regulatory authorities
- Ownership structures, including profit and nonprofit organizations, ownership entities, and common organizational structures
- Balance sheets. Common capital structures
- Management teams. Key components for evaluating the effectiveness of a management team
- An exploration of innovation and emerging trends
