2019 Spring Conference Rewind

More than 1,500 seniors housing and care owners/operators, investors and healthcare providers gathered in San Diego, February 20-22, for the 2019 NIC Spring Conference. The three-day conference focused on facilitating partnerships to break down old silos, create efficiencies, and improve outcomes, as well as shedding light on the innovations and solutions that will propel the industry into the future. The conference program featured:

A General Session and Conference Luncheon

Paul Ryan, former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, gave remarks on what the seniors housing and care sector can expect as a new Congress begins to take shape
Ian Morrison, Healthcare Futurist and Author, focused on the coming challenges and opportunities facing the seniors housing and care sector

The Boomer Hackathon – an interactive session where three small teams brainstormed and presented winning seniors housing and care models for Baby Boomers and investors
Peer-to-Peer Salons — 60-minute, moderated conversations
Small Group Discussions – led by industry experts
