Letitia Thompson

Strategic Director Healthcare Partnerships / Alzheimer's Association

Letitia Thompson has thirty-five years of experience in public health and healthcare systems in the fields of HIV, immunization, cancer, and dementia. She has a background in Medicare, Medicaid, private health plans, pharmaceutical sales, health care systems, community health, and tobacco control.

Letitia has partnered with HRSA, CMS, CDC, state and federal government, RWJF, NIH, and a range of corporate and philanthropic donors. Her work focuses on population health management across the disease continuum, health equity, rural health, and in policy, systems, and environmental change. She has lobbied at the local, state, and national level for health issues and policy and has much experience in community mobilization and coalition building. Letitia has a master’s degree in public policy and administration with a concentration in Public Health and Health Care Systems. In her current role with the Alzheimer’s Association, Strategic Director of National Healthcare Partnerships, she represents Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias across the health continuum with member, payer and QI organizations including American Academy of Family Practice, America’s Health Insurance Plans, NCQA, IHI, NAACOs, American Telemedicine Association, and more.
