Fritz Kieckhefer is a Managing Director in the Healthcare Group at CIBC Bank USA. Fritz is responsible for managing new and existing relationships and providing financing to operators, owners and developers of senior housing and skilled nursing facilities nationwide.
Fritz began his career in the banking industry right after college, joining LaSalle Bank’s Commercial Credit Training Program in 2006. After the training program, he transitioned to PrivateBank and Trust, where he worked through the bank’s troubled loan portfolio. During this tenure, he restructured and foreclosed on the Bank’s non-performing real estate loans, and ultimately managed and sold their REO portfolio throughout the Great Recession. In 2013, Fritz joined the Healthcare team at PrivateBank (now CIBC Bank USA through an acquisition in 2017) where he remains in his current role. He is actively involved in the Senior Housing industry and NIC, and a proud alumni of the NIC Future Leaders Council.
Fritz grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from The University of Wisconsin – Madison with a double major in Finance and Real Estate. He received his MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. Fritz lives in Chicago with his wife, Amy, and their three children, Anna, Marie, and Price.
