Alexandra Shuell brings more than a decade of senior living leadership experience spanning operations, clinical strategy, and marketing. She currently serves as Vice President of Health Strategy and Outcomes at Bickford Senior Living, where she leads enterprise-wide initiatives to enhance resident outcomes, accelerate value-based care integration, and expand strategic healthcare partnerships.
Alexandra’s career has consistently bridged the clinical and operational sides of the business. Prior to her current role, she led operations for a large, multi-state portfolio of senior living communities serving a diverse resident population, from market rate and middle market to Medicaid waiver. This breadth of experience has given her a grounded, scalable perspective on what it takes to deliver quality outcomes across varying payment models and regulatory environments.
She is passionate about positioning assisted living as an essential player in the broader healthcare ecosystem. Through data-driven performance improvement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strategic provider engagement, Alexandra is helping to shape the future of value-based care in senior living.
Alexandra holds an MBA from the University of Illinois. She also serves on other committees devoted to quality care and is a strong advocate for cross-sector innovation and workforce development in the aging services field.
