LOCATION: The position is located at the NIC office in Annapolis, MD. Candidate must be in the office at least two to four days a week.
GENERAL SUMMARY
In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the NIC Executive and Corporate support staff. The Administrative Coordinator will report to the Director of Finance and Administration. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Procurement of office & kitchen supplies in addition to securing catering for staff meetings
- Answer main switchboard of NIC telephone line to include answering event related questions and general NIC questions and routing calls as needed
- Administrator NIC online shop
- Administrative support for volunteer committees
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding new employees
- Assist senior accountant with AP entry into Intacct and bank deposits
- Check and distribute office mail at least twice a week
- Own weekly all staff update newsletter and quarterly HR newsletter
- Assist DOFA with HR administration
- Perform other clerical duties as needed, in support of NIC Staff & Executive Team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Commitment to NIC’s mission, values, and vision
- Experience with Microsoft O365 including Outlook, WORD, EXCEL and Teams
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3‐ 5 years’ experience in an office administrative role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with HRIS systems, Salesforce, Cvent and Intacct
- Experience in the senior housing and care industry.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Less than 30 days per year
SALARY RANGE
Compensation will be competitive and reflect the qualifications, skills, and experience of the applicant. The range for base pay will be $55,000 to $60,000.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is generally remote but when working in the NIC office environment there may be exposure to moderate noise levels. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for six to eight hours daily or prolonged periods of time and includes physical demands associated with a traditional office setting, e.g., walking, standing, communicating, and other physical functions as necessary.
