Skilled Nursing COVID-19 Tracker
NIC’s new Skilled Nursing COVID-19 Tracker provides an indicator on the rate of virus spread within U.S. skilled nursing facilities by geographic location, offering insight on where cases are spreading, slowing, or remaining flat.

COVID-19 Reach Tracker
The COVID-19 Reach Tracker report provides additional context to state-reported numbers of residents testing positive for COVID-19 within skilled nursing and seniors housing properties (independent living, assisted living, memory care). Data is reported by metropolitan area within reporting states and is updated regularly as states update their data and additional reporting is provided by government sources.

New Intra-Quarterly Data Available in NIC MAP®
Access to timely data offers the transparency needed to make informed decisions. To provide data updates even more frequently, NIC MAP® Data Service has released Intra-Quarterly Data — now available to clients with access to the Professional and/or Fundamentals & Insights products.
The new release of Intra-Quarterly Data includes:
- Stabilized occupancy across the national aggregates of all markets, primary markets, secondary markets, and the primary and secondary markets combined.
- Data aggregated for seniors housing and nursing care.
- Three-month rolling data for stabilized occupancy reported on a monthly basis.
- Data reported for the past 13 months.
The data is also featured in NIC’s Intra-Quarterly Snapshot, a new monthly report that includes highlights of the NIC MAP Intra-Quarterly Data, along with key takeaways and context from NIC Chief Economist, Beth Burnham Mace.
Request for Proposal (RFP)
NIC issued an RFP for a grant-funded study on the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on care settings, in order to aid in future health crisis preparedness.
