If I miss the Early Bird deadline can I still pay the Early Bird rate?

  • In order to take advantage of the Early Bird registration rates, all registrations must be received no later than the Early Bird deadline date, January 10, 2014 11:59PM ET.

What is your event registration cancellation policy?

  • Cancellations – Cancellations may be processed via Cvent using your confirmation number or submitted in writing by fax or email to (410) 268-4620 or Requests received by or on February 14, 2014 will receive a full refund less a non-refundable processing fee of $275 (see the Registration tab for important deadlines and fees). Cancellation requests received after February 14, 2013  and after are non-refundable and forfeited fees may not be transferred to a future NIC event.

What is your event registration substitution policy?

  • Substitutions – Replacement of a registered conference attendee by a business colleague/co-worker within the same company and professional category will be accepted. A $50 processing fee will apply to all substitutions. Substitution requests may be submitted in writing to the NIC Registrar at up to two (2) weeks in advance of the event. Substitution requests within the final two (2) weeks must be made on-site. In order to process the substitution, a new registration form will be required for the replacement attendee.

Do I still need to register if I only want to attend a couple of educational breakout sessions?

  • NIC does not allow partial event registration or event day passes. We require all registrations be paid in full prior to the event commencement date. On-site registration is available.

How can I obtain information about becoming a sponsor?

Can I reserve a suite or meeting room at the upcoming event?

  • Priority is given to sponsors of the event for the reservation of private meeting space (suites and meeting rooms). Please contact Whitney Rule at and you will be contacted closer to the event with availability.

Where can I find the NIC room code to reserve my hotel room?

  • Attendees must register for the conference prior to reserving a hotel room. Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email that contains directions for reserving your room at the Conferences host hotel at the NIC group rate.

Do I need to reserve my hotel room or does NIC do that for me?

  • Attendees are responsible for arranging their own accommodations. Please review your registration confirmation email for details on how to access the NIC room block.
