Greetings – We live in a world of unprecedented information and transparency. We’re sharing more with each other and with more people than at any point in history. Investors, operators, and developers have access to more data to help them reach highly targeted audiences while consumers have more information enabling them to make informed choices. This new age of access, information, and transparency is making its way into the seniors housing industry, and we here at the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care have made it our mission to create an environment in which the advantages, benefits, and opportunities of a culture of transparency are fully realized.
As America’s senior population continues grows at an increasingly rapid pace, understanding what this population requires is crucial for the seniors housing and care industry’s ability to support their needs now and in the future. Making that information available to those who work in and around the field of seniors housing is equally as important as putting together the people and organizations that will do the work of providing seniors with quality housing and care.
The focus of NIC’s mission is to enable access and choice by providing data, analytics, and connections that bring together investors and providers.
As part of our mission, NIC:
- Provides reliable data that increases transparency in the seniors housing and care sector in order to entice long-term capital and educate investors;
- Offers unique analysis of the data to better position investors and operators in providing today’s and tomorrow’s seniors with quality housing and care; and
- Facilitates connections between investors, operators, and developers that will carry the field of seniors housing and care into the future.
These efforts are helping to ensure that a greater number of America’s seniors have access to quality housing, care, and services, enabling them to make a choice that will let them live meaningful, purposeful lives.
