The Seniors Housing Construction Trends Report provides an overview of construction activity in the 100 largest metropolitan areas in the U.S. The report contains a detailed count of all construction activity in senior apartments, independent living, assisted living, nursing home and CCRC properties as of March 2009. Construction activity is reported by property type, both in absolute numbers and as a percentage of existing supply, across the top 100 metropolitan markets. The growth of the industry back to 1985 is presented as well, by property type. Activity within the individual 100 markets can be found in the report also. The 2009 NIC/ASHA Seniors Housing Construction Trends Report was released at the 19th Annual NIC Conference in Chicago
