Now in its third year, the Symposium addresses financing and growth issues of local and regional operators and financiers in the seniors housing and care industry. This year’s theme is “Preparing for the Future: Creating Your Opportunities in Today’s Evolving Market.”

Attendees will hear analyses of the latest industry data, learn best practices and meet innovative capital partners needed in the evolving marketplace. Sessions led by industry leaders will include: strategies for today’s higher-equity hurdles, finding debt financing to pursue growth opportunities, buy versus build, managing and adapting communities to changing resident profiles, how to get residents to move in during a tough economy, controlling expenses in a period of inflationary pressures, maximizing revenue per unit through innovative unit mix and adding ancillary services.

Early bird rates are $600 for operators and $750 for others, including meals and a networking reception. (Rates increase after January 27, 2009.) Attendance is limited to 650.
