To encourage more efficient networking opportunities for our event attendees NIC will be limiting registrations to 650 individuals, so register early to secure your spot! Registrations will be taken on a first-come first-served basis.

Each company may register up to 5 employees for the 2009 NIC Western Regional Symposium.

No speaker, multiple-registration or sponsor discounts will be offered.

Remember January 27, 2009!
  • Early Bird Deadline - registration rates will increase by $100-$150 after January 27
  • Cancellation Deadline - Cancel by January 27 to receive a full refund less a $100 processing fee. Cancellations received after January 27, 2009 are non-refundable.

Multiple Registrations

Please note: multiple registration is provided as a convenience, NO discounts will be offered for multiple registrations for the 2009 NIC Western Regional Symposium.

Important Information

  • If written notice of cancellation is received prior to January 27, 2009, you will receive a full refund less a $100 processing fee.
  • Cancellations after January 27, 2009 are non-refundable. Substitutions are permitted. Email cancellation letters and substitutions to the NIC Registrar.
  • All substitutions after February 27, 2009 must be made on site.
  • NIC reserves the right to make changes to the symposium program. Should circumstances beyond the control of NIC prevent NIC from holding the western regional symposium as scheduled, and such circumstances occur less than three weeks prior to the symposium, registrations will be retained and applied toward the next scheduled NIC symposium.
  • The Operator rates (subject to verification) are offered to those actively involved in the day-to-day management operations of a senior living facility and NOT offered to developers, passive investors, passive owners or asset managers. If your company is directly responsible for hiring the executive director and if he/she directly reports to your company then you are an Operator. Otherwise, you are considered to be a passive owner or asset manager at NIC events.
  • There will be a $25 administrative fee for all duplicate registrations. (Please check with others in your office to be certain that they have not registered for you. If you have attended an NIC event previously, you should not have to create a new profile.)
  • There will be a $50 administrative fee for all declined credit cards.

CEU Credits:

NIC does not apply for CEU credits for its annual events. If you need proof of attendance at a specific session, please bring a form with you to the session and an NIC Room Monitor (located at the rear of the room as you exit) will sign off that you were in attendance. If you need a letter for attending the full event, please call the NIC offices after the event and we will be happy to provide you with a general letter of attendance.
Event Archives:

NIC maintains an archive of event materials. This archive includes PDF copies of past programs as well as audio recordings of key sessions. Programs may be viewed free of charge and audio recordings can be purchased for a nominal fee. CLICK HERE to go to the NIC Event Archives.
