Come
to the 17th Annual
NIC Conference
October
3-5, 2007 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in
Washington, DC.
Seniors Housing & Care
is launching into
commercial real estate waters
...are you onboard?
Bon Voyage! Say farewell to
the seniors housing and care industry you
once knew and come celebrate as the industry
sets course to join the established commercial
real estate asset classes. There’s
no question that seniors housing and care
is in good shape as she sallies forth to
join hospitality, retail, office, industrial
and multi-family:
- Median occupancies are 94-97% in the
major metro markets
- Revenue and net operating income growth
are good to excellent
- Growing product awareness and acceptance
by consumers are driving demand
- Investors are seeing excellent returns
But what lies ahead as our industry ventures
into unknown waters? Along with higher expectations
of performance will be new potential for
risk. Will it be smooth sailing or rough
waters? Join us at this year’s NIC
Conference as we navigate a course through
the risks and rewards of becoming the next
accepted commercial real estate asset class.
By attending, you’ll:
- Hear Newt Gringrich — former Speaker
of the House — discuss how to transform
health and healthcare
into a 21st century system.
- Hear Alan Greenspan — economist
and former chairman of the Federal Reserve
— talk about the global market and
how it impacts interest rates and cost
of capital.
- Hear Peter Linneman — one of
the leading strategic thinkers in real
estate and professor of Real Estate, Finance
and Public Policy at the Wharton School
of Business — share his views on
performance and expectations of commercial
real estate now and in the future.

exist for stateside investors abroad.
