The Seniors Housing Construction Trends Report 2011 provides an overview of construction activity across seniors housing properties within the 100 largest metropolitan markets in the United States The report contains a detailed count of all construction activity in seniors apartments, independent living, assisted living, nursing care and CCRC properties as of March 2011. Construction activity across the top 100 metropolitan markets is reported by property type, both in absolute numbers and as a percentage of existing inventory. The growth of the seniors housing and care industry by property type back to 1985 is also presented. The NIC/ASHA Seniors Housing Construction Trends Report 2011 was released at the 21st Annual NIC Conference in Washington, DC.
